How to Say the Rosary this site is under construction.

Before I begin to explain how to say the Rosary I am going to tell you a couple of things.   Much of the Rosary has meditations in it Just like the Monks Meditated as they said their Psalms along time ago.  History of the Rosary (coming later on)

All of the mysteries comes from the Bible. You will be aquatinted with the mysteries here, in a few minutes.

Now I am going to familiarize you with the Hail Mary, to those of you who are not familiar with it. The Hail Mary too, is also based from the scripture.

The Hail Mary

Hail Mary full of Grace, The Lord is with you! Blessed are you among women and Blessed is the Fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary Mother of God, Pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.

There is  in this prayer, scriptural context of the Hail Mary.
The Second part of the Hail mary is a simple request asking the mother of Jesus who is God to pray for us.

All Christians are to believe that through the salvation of Jesus, we will live eternally.  Well Mary lives eternally She was the Mother of Jesus. How can an impurity bear a purity?  How can Mary be impure and bear a child like Jesus, who is God, and not be in Heaven?  Therefore it is perfectly all right to ask the mother of Jesus, whom Jesus so very well loves, to pray for us.  Jesus, grew up with Mary.   Mary raised Jesus, changed his "diapers" fed him, took care of him until it was his time to depart.  They had a relationship. Just like most of us have a relationship with our mother.  If your mother asked you to pray for somebody would you not?

Ask yourself this question when you were born who's make up did you receive?
Your moms and dads.  So your flesh is made of genetically material of your mom and dad, correct?  Whose flesh did Jesus Receive His mothers, there was no other flesh but from his mother with the help of The Spirit of God.

Scriptural bases for the first part of The Hail Mary

Luke 1:41

41 When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the child leaped in her womb. And Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit

42 And she spoke out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed [art] thou among women, and blessed [is] the fruit of thy womb.

43 And whence [is] this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?

44 For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.

45 And blessed [is] she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.

Other Prayers you will need to know

Our Father  :

Our Father who art in Heaven Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the Kingdom, the Power, and Glory forever. Amen

The Apostles' Creed :

I believe in god, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.  I believe in Jesus Christ, his only son our Lord.  He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary.  He suffered under Pontius Pilot, was crucified, died, and was buried.  He descended to the dead.  oN the third day he rose again.  He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.  He will come again to judge the living and the dead.  I believe in the Holy Spirit , the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen

Hail, Holy Queen :

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope, to you do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to you do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears; turn, then, most gracious Advocate, your eyes of mercy towards us, and after this , our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.  O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary! Pray for us, O holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Oh God whose only..

Oh God whose only begotten Son by his life, death and resurrection has purchased for us the rewords of eternal life, grant we beseech thee that by meditating upon these mysteries of the most holy rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mother that we imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

With the crucifix you say The sign of the cross.
